Notre Dame de Namur Associate Sue Digre helps her community in many ways, but was recognized this year for her work to support families of those serving in the military. Sue comes from a military family, and has two sons and a daughter who joined the U.S. military. She needed support when her children served overseas, and was one of the founders of Pacificia Military Moms, then Blue Star Moms of San Mateo County. She has also served as mayor and councilmember of her home town or 16 years.
