Thank you all for your help in filling out the Sister list for these schools! I'll try to track down their service information and given names and add them to the official list. Blessings.
also missing is Sr. Julie Elizabeth, a local sister from the parish think she taught second grade.
My aunt Doris Marie Payne also taught here. I believe in the 50's, early 60 ' s. She is now 91 years old. She was Sister Katherine Roberta.
I was in the first Kindeergarten in 1946. My teacher was Sr. Ann. She also taught me in 2nd and 6th grade. Also Sr. Rita of the Sacred Heart, Sr. Ann Stephen and Sr. Gertrude Sr. Ann Christine joined the CA house and her name was Sr. Ann Patrick.
I can't remember our French teacher's name, Sr Claire, I think. Also, Sr. Josepha Julie.

I had Sr Helen William snd in east boston at Assumption school. I remember her 1st day writing on the board her name and saying Im not related to Ted Williams. I also remember her leaving for Hawaii…… A great person.
Also missing:
Sr. Ann(e) Joseph (my 2nd grade, 1955 – 1956)
Sr. Claire Bernadine (Superior/Principal before Sr. Martina)
Sr. Florence Louise (late 1950s, early 1960s) (misspelled in 3/14 email)
Thanks for your keen eye, Bruce! There were Sisters from other SNDdeN provinces serving in Hawaii so our records aren't as good as we'd like them to be!

I didn't see Sister Mary Elizabeth, our teacher in 5B around 1971.
Hi Tim!
Some of the Sisters who served in Hawaii were from other parts of the United States, often from New England. Is it possible that your teacher was either Sister Mary Elizabeth Whalen https://snddeneast.org/mary-elizabeth-whalen/ or Sister Mary Elizabeth Delaney https://snddeneast.org/mary-elizabeth-delaney/ ? Take a look at these links and see if you recognize your teacher!
