
St. Francis opened in 1953 with an enrollment of 500 students. Staffed by the Sisters of Notre Dame, they taught grades 1-8. By 1975, the Sisters had withdrawn from the school.
Today lay administrators and staff at St. Francis continue their commitment to quality Catholic education.

Mother Superior was Sr.Regina Marie, a close friend of my mom's. Mrs James Beator (Irene Donohue) was a family friend as was Mrs Hyatt.
